Risen Savior Child Faith Formation, K-5th Grade
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to our 2023-2024 Child Faith Formation Program!
Kindergarten through Grade 5.
We are pleased to open our registration.
Our program meets on Wednesday evenings,
September 6th, 2023, through April 27, 2024, from 5:30 PM-7:00 PM.
Registration deadline is Wednesday, August 16, 2023.
We will begin our session on September 6th with Mass at 6:00PM, followed by an Ice Cream Social in the Marian Center. All family members are welcome to attend! We will begin our regular schedule the following Wednesday, September 13, 2023.
The Church reminds us that families are the first educators of their children in the faith. As parents, you have a unique role in the religious formation of your child.
I encourage your family to join us on this faith journey and to assist us in enhancing what your children are already learning in the home. It is within your family that your child will continue to live out that faith and witness the daily example of Catholic believers.
Our mission is to collaborate with parents and to develop a deeper understanding and love of our Catholic faith.
Children should attend Faith Formation every year, similar to academic learning. In order to receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist (Holy Communion), children must have attended Catholic school or faith formation for at least one year prior to receiving these sacraments.
If you are interested in either teaching or being an aide or a substitute, please contact me as soon as possible. No experience is necessary and training is provided. This program relies on our dedicated volunteers. We cannot do it without you! I ask that you pray about your role in assisting the children of our parish. It is quite an enjoyable and satisfying experience!

Mandatory Parent Orientation Wednesday, August 30, 2023, @ 6:00 PM in the Marian Center. (Children are welcome to attend but not required).
