Many parish families are already taking part in this option for giving to your church or paying for tuition and/or registration fees. You too can make your gift work harder than ever to support Risen Savior. By giving online, your gift will be transferred conveniently from your account directly to the parish.

Many individuals and families have joined Risen Savior Catholic Community recently.  They found a warm parish where all are welcome no matter where they might be on their own spiritual journey.

If you’re looking for a parish that you too can call home, we welcome you.  Join us for worship, or just stop by.  We’re happy to meet with you.

Do you know someone who has expressed an interest in becoming Catholic? Would you like to know more about the Catholic faith? If you are not Catholic, have you thought of becoming a Catholic yourself? If the answer to any of these questions is “yes” or “maybe,” call Deacon Mark at 505-821-1571 for more information about the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). RCIA classes meet Thursday evenings in the Parish Library at 6:30 PM.

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults has its roots in the ancient Church, reaching back through the close of the First Century.  RCIA is ultimately about adult conversion and faith formation in a welcoming community.  Adults experience our community, have opportunities to participate in scripture study, church teaching, faith sharing, friendship with a sponsor or godparent, and in the rituals that mark their progress toward the Easter Vigil.

Along with education and case management for the Refugee Resettlement Program, Catholic Charities also provides hundreds of refugees each year with new or gently used essential household goods. Your donation can help make a difference for these families who often arrive in this country with only the clothes on their back.

In October, we will be collecting new bed pillows, brooms, dust pans, alarm clocks, pasta, spaghetti sauce, oatmeal, and cereal for refugees in the Albuquerque area.
