Do you know someone who has expressed an interest in becoming Catholic? Would you like to know more about the Catholic faith? If you are not Catholic, have you thought of becoming a Catholic yourself? If the answer to any of these questions is “yes” or “maybe,” call Deacon Mark at 505-821-1571 for more information about the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). RCIA classes meet Thursday evenings in the Parish Library at 6:30 PM.

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults has its roots in the ancient Church, reaching back through the close of the First Century.  RCIA is ultimately about adult conversion and faith formation in a welcoming community.  Adults experience our community, have opportunities to participate in scripture study, church teaching, faith sharing, friendship with a sponsor or godparent, and in the rituals that mark their progress toward the Easter Vigil.

Just because a child’s parent is in jail doesn’t mean they shouldn’t receive a visit from Santa and a toy at Christmastime.  Please bring a new, unwrapped toy to brighten a child’s life this Holiday season.

Collection bins are in the Lobby during the month of November.
